Kenny has over 40 years of executive management experience in security, information technologies, healthcare and upstream oil and gas exploration.

In 2022, as Managing Director opened Savoil Energy Advisors, an investment banking, consulting and advisory firm in the Energy Sectors.

In 2019, as Sr. Director of Upstream E&P for Pritchard Griffin, managed M&A and divestures for projects in the Upstream, Midstream and Downstream Energy sectors.

In 2018, as Vice President of Exploration and Development for Empire Petroleum Corporation, successfully launched this publicly traded company and acquired 150 + wells in the Bakken, Williston and Gulf Coast Basins with a $50MM PDP value. 

In 2012, as Vice President of Exploration and Development for Warhorse Oil & Gas, LLC. an independent energy company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and production of oil and natural gas reserves in Louisiana, drilled over 25 wells with a 90% success rate and has discovered over 3.3 million barrels of oil, 7.2 billion cubic feet of gas with a gross PDP value of $154MM, with an additional 7-million-barrel equivalent PUD to PDP reserve capability and has managed an expenditure budget of over $90MM. He was instrumental in the drilling and construction of commercial saltwater injection wells in the Eagleford Shale in South Texas, the Permian Basin in West Texas and the Eagle Bine Basin in Central Texas.

In 2010, as an independent geologist and owner of Savoil Exploration & Production, LLC., identified commercially successful discoveries in the onshore Mesozoic Gulf Coast Basin.

Kenny is a 1983 graduate of University of Louisiana, Lafayette with a B.S. degree in Geology, Pre-Med minor, with post graduate studies in environmental engineering. He is a certified petroleum geologist, DPA # 6137, Louisiana Board Certified Geologists and an industry member of AAPG, SIPES, and LGS.
